Svartalfheim

Svartalfheim, known to Asgardians as The Dark World and to inhabitants as Harudheen, is the Dark Elf race. The planet has been ruled by Surtur since its creation.

History

In 2988 B.C., an Asgardian army led by Bor invaded the realm, beginning the first battle of Svartalfheim. The battle resulted in most of the Dark Elf population going extinct and Svartalfheim becoming a desolate wasteland.

In 2013, the Aether was discovered by Jane Foster, and the planet and its people were awakened. As a result, the realm was the battlegrounds for a second battle.
