The Infinity Stones were a set of six immensely powerful stones that were created from the Big Bang.

These stones are so powerful that only beings of immense power can wield them, such as Thanos or a Celestial.

Space Stone[edit | edit source]

Main article: Space Stone

The Space Stone was a stone capable of controlling elements of space. It was first wielded by Johann Schmidt, who became the stonekeeper of the Soul Stone. The stone was later wielded by Loki, who used the stone in the Battle of New York. It was kept inside of a protective case known as the Tesseract until the Tesseract was destroyed in 2018 as part of Thanos' quest for all of the Infinity Stones.

The Space Stone was destroyed in 2018 following the Snap.

Reality Stone[edit | edit source]

Main article: Reality Stone

The Reality Stone was a stone capable of controlling elements of reality. It was first absorbed by Jane Foster, who became sick following her exposure to the Aether. The Reality Stone was then taken to the Collector's museum, where it remained until Thanos retrieved it in 2018.

The Reality Stone was destroyed in 2018 following the Snap.

Power Stone[edit | edit source]

Main article: Power Stone

The Power Stone was a stone with immense power contained within it. Thanos tasked Ronan the Accuser with retrieving the Power Stone in 2014, although Thanos' plan was thwarted when Star-Lord stole the Power Stone, along with its orb, instead. As part of the Xandarian massacre, Thanos managed to retrieve the Power Stone.[1]

The Power Stone was destroyed in 2018 following the Snap.

Soul Stone[edit | edit source]

Main article: Soul Stone

The Soul Stone was a stone capable of controlling souls. Uniquely, the stone must be obtained by sacrificing that with what you love most; Thanos would later sacrifice Gamora to obtain the stone. The stonekeeper of the Soul Stone is Johann Schmidt, who came to be stonekeeper after touching the Space Stone.

The Soul Stone was destroyed in 2018 following the Snap.

Mind Stone[edit | edit source]

Main article: Mind Stone

The Mind Stone was a stone capable of controlling minds. It was first used by Loki as part of his scepter and later used to power Vision. Thanos obtained the stone from Vision by ripping it out of his head.

Time Stone[edit | edit source]

The Time Stone was a stone capable of controlling elements of time. It was first found by Agamotto and placed within the Eye of Agamotto. Doctor Strange would later use the Time Stone to defeat Dormammu. Strange willingly gave the stone away to Thanos in 2018.

The Time Stone was destroyed in 2018 following the Snap.
