Hela Odinsdottir was the Asgardian goddess of death. The firstborn daughter of Odin, Hela and Odin went on various conquests throughout the universe. After a failed coup attempt, Odin banished Hela on Hel.
In 2017, following Odin's death, Hela escaped from Hel and attempted to seize control of the royal throne of Asgard, killing the Warriors Three and much of Asgard in the process. Hela's conquest of Asgard eventually led to the destruction of Asgard by Surtur.
