Sakaar is a trash planet located in the Tayo star system. Created by the Grandmaster, Sakaar is the homeworld of the Sakaarans.
Sakaar is notable for its unusual flow of time: unlike other planets, weeks on Sakaar can be seconds in the outside world.[1] Sakaar is also notable for the Contest of Champions, a tournament held on the planet that has served incredibly popular with locals.
