Odin's vault
Odin's vault was an underground vault located within the Royal Palace of Valaskjalf on Asgard belonging to Odin.
History[edit | edit source]
During his reign, Odin began seizing various items and trophies. To hold all of these trinkets, Odin's vault was established deep within the Royal Palace of Valaskjalf and guarded by the Einherjar.
On May 30, 2010, the vault was infiltrated into by the Frost Giants of Jotunheim in an attempt to steal the Casket of Ancient Winters. Odin, as a countermeasure, called upon the Destroyer to eliminate the Frost Giants.
During the Siege of Asgard, the vault was visited by Hela, who broke into the Asgardian catacombs through Odin's vault, unleashing the Berserkers upon Asgard. Odin's vault was eventually destroyed, along with Asgard itself, in an event known as Ragnarok.
Items[edit | edit source]
Prior to its demise, Odin's vault was the home of various objects, including:
- The Casket of Ancient Winters
- The Tuning Fork
- The Eternal Flame
- Warlock's eye
- The Tablet of Life and Time
- Mjolnir
- The Tesseract
- The Crown of Surtur

Hela claimed that most of the items in the vault are fake; it is unknown how valid her claims are, although the replica of the Infinity Gauntlet is known to be fake.[1]
