Infinity Saga

The Infinity Saga was a main storyline, which started in May 2008 with the release of Iron Man. The storyline concluded in July 2019 with the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home.

The storyline encompasses the films in Phase One, Phase Two, and Phase Three, and established the Avengers. The storyline culminated in Avengers: Infinity War, when Thanos, who had been established in earlier films in the series, sought out the Infinity Stones, resulting in the Infinity War and the Snap. In the events of Avengers: Endgame, the Snap is undone in an event known as the Blip and Thanos is ultimately defeated in the Battle of Earth.

The Infinity Saga directly leads into the Multiverse Saga, the current saga that encompasses films and TV series in Phase Four, Phase Five, and Phase Six. The Multiverse Saga began with WandaVision in January 2021 and is expected to end with Avengers: Secret Wars in May 2026.
