History

This timeline briefly chronicles, in rough chronological order, the history of the multiverse and its inhabitants, most prominently those on Earth.

Please note that, for practical reasons, the descriptions given here are very brief. As such, it is recommended to visit the articles listed in the last column for more detailed documentation.

Timeline

Before 20th century

The universe begins	The Celestials and Dark Elves are born; the latter reside in the Ginnungagap. The Celestials cause the Big Bang. As the Big Bang begins, six elemental crystals known as Infinity Stones: the Space Stone, Reality Stone, Power Stone, Soul Stone, Mind Stone, and Time Stone by the cosmic entities Death, Eternity, Infinity, and Entropy. Following the Big Bang, the Grandmaster and Collector are born. The Celestials also create the planet Earth with a seed containing Tiamut the Communicator, and the Celestial Ego is eventually born.
