Wanda Maximoff, also known as the Scarlet Witch^[2] was^[3] a Sokovian practitioner of magic. At an early age, Maximoff was able to harness chaos magic.

Following the Novi Grad bombings, Maximoff developed a hatred for the United States and Tony Stark, the CEO of Stark Industries.
