Template:Transcript Character invokes function main in Module:Dialogue list using Lua.

This is for transcripts to note which notable characters participate in the transcript.

It is not recommended that this is used in Visual Editor, as the template uses Lua to build the resulting text. Use Source editing instead, and separate individuals with "|".

The template is also used to populate Property:Transcript Characters used to create the lists of dialogues a character speaks in on Template:Speaksin and Template:Hasdialogue.

Uses

This produces:

This transcript involves dialogue with Thanos, Doctor Strange, and Iron Man.

To show an alternative text for a character, first enter the link then add the template for the pipe character {{!}} and then the alternative text.
