Watchers are omniscient and legendary entities that observe the multiverse.

Nature and abilities[edit | edit source]

Watchers are held to an unbreakable oath to never interfere with the multiverse.[1] This is exemplified when Uatu attempted to assist Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton in searching the KGB archives for Arnim Zola, but he was not able to. However, Uatu ultimately broke his oath when he assembled the Guardians of the Multiverse to fight against Ultron.

Watchers are informed of multiversal affairs through an informant. Unlike Watchers, the Watcher Informant may freely interfere and engage in activities within the multiverse, such as getting a job.
