Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S.

Project Potential Energy Group — Alternate Sources — United States (P.E.G.A.S.U.S.) was a joint project between S.H.I.E.L.D., NASA, and the United States Air Force to study the Tesseract beginning in the 1980s with the creation of the Light-Speed Engine. Following the death of the Light-Speed Engine's creator, Wendy Lawson, the project was put on pause. It was reactivated in the wake of the battle of Puente Antiguo until Loki's arrival on Earth permanently put an end to the project.
