Nathaniel Richards, better known as Kang the Conqueror, was a scientist. Prior to the Multiversal War, Kang discovered the existence of the multiverse; during the war, he attempted to seize control of it.

Exile to the Quantum Realm[edit | edit source]
Following the Multiversal War, Kang was exiled to the Quantum Realm by the Council of Kangs. He encountered Janet van Dyne, who helped rebuild the Time Chair. van Dyne saw within Kang's mind through the chair's neurokinetic properties and saw his destruction of worlds across the multiverse. She then enlarged the chair's multiversal engine core, trapping Kang within the Quantum Realm.
Conquering the Quantum Realm[edit | edit source]
Using his armor, Kang conquered the Quantum Realm and established an empire.
