Jonathan Pangborn is a former Master of the Mystic Arts. Paralyzed from a factory accident, he sought the guidance of the Ancient One at Kamar-Taj, leaving the Masters of the Mystic Arts to continue his life and using Eldritch magic to cure his condition.
As part of Karl Mordo's campaign to eradicate practicioners of magic, Pangborn's powers were taken away from him.
