Bern 2000 was a technical conference held in Bern, Switzerland, on December 31, 1999. It ended the following day.

The event notably featured Tony Stark as a speaker; Stark, intoxicated, presented a lecture on integrated circuits.[1] At the event, Stark met surgeons Ho Yinsen and Wu, genetic scientist Maya Hansen, and Aldrich Killian. Killian would later become Stark's adversary, causing Aldrich Killian's War, and Yinsen would later reunited with Stark when both were kidnapped by the Ten Rings.
