Emil Blonsky is a former commander of the Royal Marines. During the Bruce Banner manhunt, Blonsky sought to bring Bruce Banner to justice, and infused his blood with Banner's, creating Abomination. Blonsky then proceeded to fight Banner in Harlem, although his loss in the fight resulted in him being placed in cryostasis in the Vault.[1]

By 2024, Blonsky was transferred to the Supermax Federal Penitentiary, where his release was organized by Jennifer Walters. Upon his release, Blonsky set up a self-healing group known as "Abomaste".
