| All files must comply with the images and media policy.

- Images uploaded to the Tesseract Wiki must be used in a mainspace article. If an image is for personal use, such as on your userpage or signature, please do not upload it here.

- Still images should be in the
.png format, clips in the .mp4 format, and audio files in the .ogg format, unless taken from an official source.
|
- File names must be descriptive. Names such as marvel.png, untitled.png, or 5-07-2024-08:05.png are not acceptable. The format suffix should be lowercase.
|
- Please select a category from the dropdown when uploading an image. This will tag the image with the appropriate license for the selected image type.

The following table contains several batch upload options with preset data-text that allow for bulk uploading the same type of images with their required license.
Due to standard usage the Fair use template will not automatically add their subject (or in the case of fair use, the source link) to the template as filename often differs from subject page.
