This is a documentation subpage for Template:Property. It contains usage information, categories, and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template controls the display and declaration of Property pages, a part of Semantic MediaWiki. It should be used on all property pages.

Usage

|type = data type (default: page)
|notes = notes/description of the property (optional)
|templates = templates and modules that automatically set the property (optional)
}}

Datatype can be any of the normal SMW datatypes, as specified here - the parameter will specify the Has type property automatically. Any additional special properties should be specified in the notes parameter with an explanation.
