Usage

This template formats IPA transcriptions and links them to Help:IPA, a general IPA key. It is intended for non-English languages without specific support, and for narrow transcriptions of languages that do. See below for specific templates.

The unnamed parameter in the template is for the transcription. The tag parameter is a switch that controls the lede.

• {{IPA-all|a}} → [a]
• {{IPA-all|a|tag=IPA}} → IPA: [a]
• {{IPA-all|a|tag=lang}} → locally [a]
• {{IPA-all|a|tag=pron}} → pronounced [a]
• {{IPA-all|a|tag=local}} → local pronunciation: [a]

Language names may be entered as well:

• {{IPA-all|a|tag=Dutch}} → Dutch: [a]

Any of these may be combined with a sound file in by using the audio parameter.
