Shadow monsters are a race of creatures. They can be conjured by All-Black the Necrosword.
Shadow monsters served a critical role in Gorr's deicides, a campaign by Gorr the God Butcher to eliminate all of the gods. Gorr used shadow monsters to attack Falligar the Behemoth and siege New Asgard.

Shadow monsters are comparable to symbiotes, due to their unusual head shape and sharp teeth.
