Scott Lang, better known as Ant-Man, is a former convicted thief. Widely known for the Vistacorp robbery, in which Lang discovered Vistacorp had been overcharging customers and stole $4 million from the company,^[1] he served a three-year sentence at San Quentin State Prison.

Upon his release, Lang was recruited by Hank Pym to take up the Ant-Man mantle.
