Jonathan F. Walker, also known as U.S. Agent, is a former United States Army captain. Walker was selected to serve as the second Captain America following Steve Rogers' retirement, but was removed from the position following his dishonorable discharge.

Walker attended Custer's Grove High School and was the captain of the football team. After graduating from United States Military Academy, Walker enlisted into the United States Army, and became a decorated soldier. In 2024, Walker was selected to serve the Captain America mantle, a decision that Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson found disrespectful. During the rise of the Flag Smashers in Europe, Walker fought against many of the Flag Smashers, including Nico, a foreign national. Nico's death marred Walker with controversy, and he was discharged.

Following his discharge, Walker was recruited by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine to join the Thunderbolts.
