The Xandarian massacre was a massacre between Thanos and the Black Order and the Nova Empire that resulted in half of the Xandarian population dying. The massacre occurred on Xandar, and it was on this planet that Thanos was able to retrieve the Power Stone, beginning the Infinity War.
