The bombing of Vossoyedineniye Square, or Unity Day bombing, was a terrorist attack committed by Gravik.
Background[edit | edit source]
In 2026, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Talos became aware of a Skrull invasion of Earth. While spying on Sonya Falsworth, they learned of Vasily Poprishchin, an arms dealer who could be supplying Gravik, a member of the Skrull Council. Hill spotted G'iah, Talos' daughter, buying bombs from Poprishchin and chased her. G'iah informed Talos an impending attack on Vossoyedineniye Square designed to provoke the United States and Russia into a war.
Bombing[edit | edit source]
On Unity Day, Fury, Hill, and Talos arrived in Vossoyedineniye Square. There, they spotted a shell game occurring between several backpacks. Disguised as multiple people, Gravik distracted Fury as Hill discovered that the backpacks were decoys. As Fury was going to kill Gravik, he detonated four bombs. Hill ran towards what appeared to be Fury, only to be shot by Gravik posing as him.
Aftermath[edit | edit source]
The bombing killed several civilians, including Maria Hill.
